We’ve already told you of an apple wreath, and why not make such a yummy garland? You’ll need 1 dozen apples, food dehydrator, a knife, a large bowl, lemon juice, a drinking straw, scissors and twine. Slice the apples crosswise as thinly as possible. Use the drinking straw to make a hole in the center of the apple slices that don’t already have a hole. Combine 2 cups water and 1/4 cup lemon juice in a large bowl. Dip the apple slices in the lemon juice mixture. Lay the apple slices out on your dehydrator racks, and sprinkle them lightly with cinnamon. Dehydrate the apples at 135 degrees F for 6 hours. Cut a piece of twine and wrap a piece of tape around the end of it to prevent the twine from unraveling. Slide the apples on the twine. Keep filling up the garland until you have added all of the apple slices. Tie a knot in the twine at each end of the apple garland to keep the apples from sliding off. Decorate your home with this tasty fall garland and enjoy!
