There’s nothing more pleasing than staying outdoors when it’s warm and the sun is shining not too bright, it’s not too hot – spring is ideal! As it’s coming to some places already, it’s high time to think how to decorate or redecorate your outdoor space to embrace the season and make the terrace perfect for you.
Choose a style – it can be the same style you are using indoors or something different but better connected. Decide on the color scheme: many people strive for neutrals but others may prefer bright colors and lots of prints. You can also combine both ideas rocking a neutral terrace with splashes of color and patterns. A theme, for example, Mediterrarnean terrace, can be also a very nice and cool idea to try.

Check all the furniture you are usually using – does it fir the space you want? Is it in a good shape or requires some renovation? What pieces would you like to swap? As soon as you do that, you can start renovating the furniture and buying new items. While it’s cold in the evening, you might want a portable fireplace or something like that, consider rocking one. Then take a look at decor and accessories. Some layered rugs, blankets and pillows will definitely cozy up your space making it cooler and cozier and keeping you warm. Candle lanterns or lights will help create an ambience, and of course don’t forget about greenery, blooms and trees! They can be potted, growing or even faux ones but they should be present as they will help you feel at ease and relax fast. Enjoy!
