An outdoor shower is a good idea for a warm climate, especially if you have a pool or live close to a beach. How to design an outdoor shower in a chic way and make it both stylish and comfortable for using?
Styles And Colors
An outdoor shower can be done in a range of styles – choose anything that will fit your space, it should be somehow cohesive with what you have around. The most popular styles are Scandinavian, contemporary and modern, tropical and beachy and rustic, of course, the latter being the leader as it’s easier to pull off and doesn’t require that much money. You can also choose a color scheme that is proper for the style you have, for example, a black and white color palette is a great idea for a Scandinavian space, lots of stained wood will be great for a rustic shower, a contemporary space can be done in neutrals.

Materials
What materials are usually used for outdoor showers? These are, first of all, wood and stone, the latter being the most durable and very natural-looking. Wood gives a warm and natural feel but requires sealing to withstand weather conditions and constant humidity. Concrete is another very durable and cool material for outdoors, it looks very modern. You may also incorporate some cool tiles – clad walls or floor with them.

Find out what you need for your door shower: will it be just a small nook somewhere outside? Will it have full privacy with walls and a door? Will you go whimsy with half walls or living walls or a planked wall instead? Screens can be also a nice idea, that can be placed and then removed when not in need. Decide if you are going to have shelves and niches for storage or these will be some stools or side tables.
