Pink is one of my favorite colors, and if you love it too, why not incorporate this color into your home décor? They say that pink is all girlish and can be used only for feminine spaces but that’s not so – you may use it in many other interiors, too. My favorite spaces to incorporate pink are bathrooms and bedrooms but it can be used literally everywhere and today I offer some ideas to include it into kitchen décor.
Choose your favorite shade of pink and figure out what amount of it you are going to use. Will you have pink kitchen walls or cabinets or both? Will you go for only a pink kitchen island and a backsplash? Do you want to incorporate pink with smaller items that these? Pink can match any décor style but it’s essential to choose a right shade of pink for your style, for example, a vintage kitchen will look weird with hot pink cabinets, while a modern space will be nice with them, and such soft shades as blush can fit most of styles, from minimalist to vintage.

When you decide all that, think what colors you are going to use with pink. Neutrals of all kinds will refresh your kitchen, black and other bold colors will contrast and make a statement and bright colors will make the space cheerful. Add brass and gold fixtures to make the space look more glam and refined or go for matte black ones for an ultra-modern feel. The good thing is that with pink you won’t need much special décor as your color will set a mood already. If you still need some, you can just choose accessories that highlight your colors. Get inspired!
