If you are keen on taking photos, you definitely know that photo portraits without a diffuser are not so good as with it. Let’s make one ourselves. The supplies are a camera with a pop-up flash, a white film canister, a sharp craft knife, a permanent marker, a little tiny ball of sticky tack. Begin by popping up your flash and turning off your camera and measure the width of the back of the flash. Mark where you will make your vertical cuts and make them very carefully; connect them with horizontal ones. Try it on your flash and keep cutting until it fits nicely and will not fall off; it is clearly not an exact science and you will have to play around with it until it fits. You may also use a little ball of sticky tack on the back of the flash to ensure that it will not slip around. Take pictures and have fun!
