We’ve just told you of some pretty hair accessories in different styles and here’s one more for collection – a velvet and pearl hair ribbon. The supplies are velvet ribbon, pearls of various sizes, needle, thread, and scissors. Cut your ribbon up to 40-50″ long. Fold the edge of your velvet over, then in half, and stitch the edge together go give it a nice finished end. Hiding the end of your knotted thread inside the ribbon folds, thread your large pearl through the needle, then your seed bead on top. Now thread your needle back through your large bead again and down into the velvet to secure it. You will have 3 rows of pearls; one at the edge and one on either side. Try to keep your pearls in straight lines and continue until you are satisfied with the look.
