If you one of those people who think that magnetic tool and knife holders are very useful but ugly you can decorate them with contact paper. For example you can turn a simple magnetic block fromm IKEA into a beautiful hardwood plank. At least you can make it looks like such plank.
Materials and Tools
- Magnetic knife rack
- Wood grain contact paper
- Scissors and craft knife
- Bone folder or large metal spoon
- Measuring tape
Instructions
Cut the contact paper slightly bigger than the knife holder. Adhere the paper to board’s front and sides without living any air bubbles. Trim away any excess, and you’re done!
