Grey is a timeless color, it never goes out of style and it’s very combinable – you may combine it with various shades and tones and it’ll look cool. If you don’t know what color to choose for your kitchen design, take a look at grey shades, there are lots of tones from the lightest to the darkest ones and you may easily add colorful touches or neutrals to make it cooler.
Light Grey Kitchens
Light shades of grey and usual greys are amazing if you want a neutral shade that can be easily combined and spruced up with any other color. You may go for various styles and looks you want: vintage, traditional, minimalist, modern, Scandinavian or any other – light greys fit any style and design easily. For a more vintage look, prefer wash greys, with vintage and traditional cabinets, add glass cabinets and think of paneling on your cabinets. Clad your cabinets and tables with stone or marble countertops and add matching backsplashes. If you prefer modern and minimalist styles, think of additional lighting under the cabinets or along the backsplash. Your countertops and backsplashes can be of neutral or white stone or concrete, matte faucets and appliances will add a more minimalist feel and a modern sophisticated touch.

Such kitchens are usually more modern or minimalist, vintage and traditional kitchens are usually more light-colored. Go for sleek and shiny cabinets, or for matte ones, prefer no knobs or leather pulls to make a modern statement. For a moody look, go for black countertops and backsplashes, and for a fresher look prefer white or light-colored wood surfaces. You may also try darker greys for a shabby chic or vintage kitchen, just add a texture or paneling or both to your cabinets and prefer some vintage knobs – brass or silver ones.
