Once your branch is in shape, it’s time to get messy—well, sort of. Grab some black acrylic paint and give the branch a couple of good coats. I remember thinking one coat would be enough, and it is. But the branch could soak up the paint like crazy, so for that solid, spooky black, go with two coats. Then, just let it dry while we move on to the next part!
