A price tag for rustic-looking wall clocks is usually not as good as you want it to be. Although DIY version of such clocks won’t cost you much. You can make them from virtually any wood pieces. For example you can use pallets, old fences, wood pieces from old walls and so on. Besides them you’ll need acrylic paint, wood glue, a clock mechanism, a piece of MDF board, house numbers, silver brads, a hammer and an access to some power tools. Believe me, if you have an access to power tools everything else won’t cost you more than $10.
To make the wall clock you need to cut a circle in the MDF. Next, you need to paint wood pieces and attach them to the circle you got using silver brads. When you’re done with that, trim down the pieces that are hanging over the edge of the MDF circle and attach house numbers to it. In the end you need to drill a hole in the middle of the clock frame you made and put a clock mechanism through it. When all these steps will be done hang the clock anywhere you like and enjoy!
