Wooden rings are great for a simple casual look and they can be a fantastic gift for everybody. To make them you’ll need scrap pieces of hardwood like cedar, cherry, mahogany, a drill, a scroll saw, a belt sander, some type of finish. Use a drill to make a hole about the size of your finger. Then use a scroll saw to trim around the hole a bit, shape the ring as you wish using a belt sander but don’t make the belt too thin. Use a piece of sandpaper to smooth the inside of the ring and finish the ring with some stain and let dry. Enjoy!
