This cool doormat was inspired by a Pottery Barn one but it costs less. Take a blank coir rug and use acrylic paint as it’s permanent so it works well for an outdoor and it’s also a flexible paint, unlike oil paint, so it won’t crack once dry. Use a ruler to mark the middle of the rug and to guide the angle of your writing. Using an angular flat paintbrush, free hand the “hello” and “goodbye” script. Of course, you can also create stencils which are super easy to make. Paint on a couple coats to get the right level of saturation. This will hopefully help with the natural wear of the paint/rug as well. Let it dry and here you’ve got a cool doormat with an inscription!
