Let’s make some original jewelry that would look great with jeans and leather, and can be a great gift for Valentine’s Day. The supllies are a strip of leather approximately 3″ long and about 1 1/2” wide, pliers to attach the jump ring, awl or bead reamer to make a small hole, a small brad, a jump ring. Cut your leather and poke a hole in the middle about 1/4″ from the end. Insert the brad into the end of the strap portion and then into the middle of the book portion. Fold it in thirds to determine where to punch a hole for the jump ring. Punch the hole for the jump ring and insert it. Fold the book in thirds and wrap the strap around it. Hang it on another piece of leather or chain or whatever you’d like. Add some details if you like and enjoy!
