This barrette is ideal for any woodland party, or a woodland or rustic wedding. To make one you’ll need sculpy, acrylic paint, a paintbrush, barrette backings, clay-safe working surface, a hot glue gun and glue sticks, an oven and a baking sheet. Start with a good sized ball of clay. I used about half of the clay in the original picture for each antler, but I ended up tearing/cutting off a bit of it. Roll your ball into a cylinder/log. Make the base of the cylinder/log flat and slightly wider at the bottom. Moving up from there, we are going to begin thinning the cylinder/log. Split your log down the middle vertically.
