This part’s fun but a little tricky. Print out my simple tree template Start shaping your wire by bending it along the edges of the template. Pro tip: It’s best to start at the base of the tree. This way, you won’t have to guess the length of the wire. But if you’re not afraid to waste a bit of wire, starting from the top can be easier — just be sure to cut a piece of wire long enough from the start.
Don’t stress if the shape isn’t perfect—imperfections add character, right? Besides, you can fix it a later.
