This simple project won’t cost you much. Although your kid would definitely happy to have such cool colorful wall clock at his or her bedroom. For the project you’ll need 12 used color markers, a plastic box, a drill with drill bits, a tape, a pencil, a small clock mechanism and a pair of pliers.
Instructions
Pull markers apart and remove the core and the inner container for ink from each of them using pliers. Pick up a bit that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the marker. Measure and divide the side of plastic cover into 12 equal pieces. Drill holes and try how well the markers fit in them. Drill also a hole in the lid. They should stay there fairly rigid and do not fall out. Place the clock work inside of the box and distribute markers among holes.
Fasten the mechanism by placing arrows outside of the box. After that you’re pretty much done. Simply hang the clock somewhere in your kids room and enjoy.
