Using a shipping pallet as a source of wood for your DIY project is cheap. Here is a kitchen organizer made of a single pallet, paint, chalkboard paint, 3 drawer pulls and 6 curtain rings. The pallet was cut, sanded, and covered with 3 coats of white paint. After that part of it was painted with chalkboard paint. Next, pulls and rings were applied using epoxy.
