Okay, so the first step was painting the branch black. Easy enough, right? Well, here’s a tip: Make sure you’re working on cardboard or something to protect your surfaces. Black paint gets everywhere, everywhere. Once I had it coated and drying (which felt like forever, but it’s probably more like an hour), I started working on the fun stuff: gnomes and brooms.
