Summer is the time of eating outdoors and enjoying fresh air, of enjoying a glass of wine outside. But when you lay the table, there’s a problem of flies and bees trying to eat your meals. To prevent this you can make a cloche of terracotta to hide your food. You can make this piece really easily: just take a terracotta pot and a thick rope. A simple piece of rope knotted through the bottom hole acts as a handle. Terracotta will retain the head of a hot dish, or keep a cool dip from warming up and drying out. This is a cool idea for any summer meal.
