Let’s turn a usual table into a pair of cool and glamorous nightstands that won’t take much space! The supplies are a small wooden table, tape measure, a pencil and a notepad, 1×2 wood trim, a drill, wood screws, porch and deck paint, a paint sprayer and some other tools. Measure available floor space on either side of bed to determine necessary width and height of finished nightstands. Using a saw cut the table in half, remove the existing finish and sand the pieces. Spray paint them with two coats letting each one dry, then an even coat of floor sealer. Mark area on the wall below table’s edge where cleat will be attached. Fasten the cleat with screws and attach the tables to the cleat using wooden screws. Enjoy!
