Go for tiles, wood is great but not very long-lasting, unless you cover it with a special finish and will renovate it from time to time. As for tiles, you may go for white, grey and black, with geometric shapes or usual regular ones. Play with different shapes and sizes to make your bathroom look more eye-catching. Go for a shower space and maybe a free-standing tub if there’s enough space for it. Go for a modern oval tub or a vintage one, a wall-mounted vanity with a couple of sinks or a bowl one, for contrasting faucets in black and accent your tiles with bold grout. Don’t forget about cozy textiles and towels to make the bathroom welcoming. Incorporate touches of light stained wood as much as you can, they will warm up the space and make it welcoming. Add wooden mats, tree stumps, cabinets and benches and go for stone sinks and even stone for only decor. Place some woven baskets and boxes for storage and voila – a chic look is achieved! Bring in some potted plants and greenery (maybe faux ones) to refresh the space and enjoy the result!
