We’ve already shared outdoor Thanksgiving table settings but what about decorating all over? Your porch, garden and backyard should have some décor, too, to create an ambience.
Decorate your porch placing bold fall containers with seasonal blooms, add some pumpkins, a rustic fall sign and a sheaf of wheat or corn husks. If you like bright shades, choose red, yellow, orange flowers and orange pumpkins; if you want relaxed décor, choose whitewashed containers, white pumpkins and candle lanterns. Want to spruce up your porch a little bit? Put a scarecrow on your porch and it’ll make the décor more unusual. Another idea is to fill the container or a basket with fall veggies and branches instead of flowers. You can also decorate your front door with deco mesh garlands – place it around your front door.
Pumpkin displays are a simple and popular way to decorate your spaces for fall and Thanksgiving. Put an old cart with patina finish in the garden, backyard or next to your porch and place pumpkins and gourds on it. Add flowers, pinecones and corn, as much as you want. You can also use window boxes and benches for placing them. I love the idea of using tomato cages for displaying gourds, place them around your house or on the porch, that’s very comfy. A pumpkin display will bring a cozy vibe to your outdoor space, you’ll enjoy it.
