Even the oldest and the ugliest chair can get a new life with a cover! First, pin the fabric to the chair, following the contours. Tuck the fabric into the place where the back and the seat meet, trace around the entire thing, and cut out. Then pin a skirt into place and cut. Next pin the back into place and cut. Last, lay flat fabric on the crescent moon shaped top portion, trace and cut. After you have the pieces, it is just a matter of pinning and sewing them together to match the shape of the chair. After hemming the bottom you’ll be done!
