If you have a baby, I’ve got a great project for your photo shoots – a monthly update sign! For this project you will need a wood round, sander, paints, chalkboard paint, paintbrushes, chalk, and a sharpie. Take a power sander to smoothen the surface. Next, paint the chalkboard paint on one side. Use the natural pattern of the rings as a guide for the edge of the shape, and leave a natural wood border around the edge. Apply two coats of the chalkboard paint, allowing it to dry in between layers. After the chalkboard paint dries, flip the wood round over, and paint the back with a turquoise color.
