Oooh that soothing and melodious sound – and the fact that you in most cases can make your DIY wind chimes using material you can find around your home, it’s a perfect fall DIY. You’ll need a glass dome/ glass inserts for votives, a pair of scissors, nylon thread/ fishing line, crystal beads/ trimmings and wood beads. Make sure your wood bead is larger than the opening of the glass dome. Thread beads on the crystals. Use a strong thread like nylon to fasten the crystals. Thread the line through the top of the dome and that’s all! Hang them at various heights from a pergola or the porch and listen as the glass and wood softly clink together with the wind.
