Industrial décor is popular today, and you can easily get a trendy décor piece for just a couple of dollars! You’ll need a container of some kind, either a thin metal or plastic, a hammer, a nail, wire, a drill, pliers with a wire cutter, 3/4″- 1″ dowel and soft measuring tape. First, measure the circumference of your container with your measuring tape, and divide it into thirds. Use that measurement to mark 3 even points about 1″ below the rim of the container. After you have marked your points (with a pencil or sharpie) hammer your nail through to create a hole. You could also drill the hole if you are using a plastic container.
