Entryway is the first indoor zone of your home that visitors see, and the impression it produces matters. It usually tells your guests about the style and colors they’ll see in your home and seasonal decor can be there, too, to create a mood and ambience right upon entry. Decorating your entryway for Halloween might be tricky still as it’s often small and it should be a functional space that doesn’t prevent us from going inside the house, and that’s why I’d offer you to style only the console you have or the bench. Let’s figure out how to decorate both.
Halloween Entryway Consoles
An entryway console is right a place where you can show off your talent to create arrangements, and there are no limitations to your imagination, this is a blank canvas to paint on. Consider the style of the space and its colors to make the decor cohesive and start adding items. Blackbirds and bats, skeletons and skulls, black candles and dark foliage or grasses, spiders and spiderweb, vintage posters and modern artwork and of course pumpkins. All that should correspond with the decor and style of the space, and if you can’t find an item you need, just make it. Don’t forget to decorate the space around the console: the floor, the wall over it to make the ambience cooler.

Halloween Entryway Benches
If you only have a bench or want to decorate a bench, the idea is basically the same: watch around, consider the style and colors and make your decor cohesive. These can be baskets with pumpkins and tall vases on both sides of the bench, a skeleton sitting on it and a wreath on the rack. It might be harder to style a bench as you still need to sit somewhere while taking off your shoes but you can reduce the amount of the decor in such a case. If you have like a chair or a small niche in the entryway, you can still decorate the space! Use your ceiling to add floating candles, skulls or witches’ hats and you won’t steal this space from yourself.
