If you don’t have a proper welcome mat in place at the front door you can use this idea to make a temporary one. Probably you’ll even like the possibility to change the look of the mat whatever you want and will use such solution for a long time.
To make such mat give your sidewalk a little sweep, grab some chalk and draw the mat. To change its look just add water and you can start again.
