First of all find or buy a good tall vase and a lamp shade. It’s better if the vase’s opening is wider than its bottom. Buy lamp parts in hardware store. Start by drilling a hole in the side of the bottom of the 3 way socket. The hole needs to be big enough to feed the cord wire through. Feed the wire through the newly drilled hole and follow the package directions on how to assemble the socket. Clean the vase before gluing. Then glue the socket and the harp to the bottom of the vase to the bottom of the vase. Put the lamp shade on and you’re done.
