Skylights are light transmitting fenestration forming all, or a portion of, the roof of a building’s space for daylighting purposes. First they were used in roman architecture but they are widely used today, too, as they add much natural light and provide a visual connection to the outdoor environment. Skylights can be placed in any space, from a bedroom to a bathroom, and today I’d like to show dining spaces with skylights to inspire you.
Many Skylights Or Big Ones
Create a whole glazed dome! Place you dining space under it and enjoy all the light given – your dining zone will be spectacular! If a dome is out of question, opt for large skylights, it can be just one but big or glaze a part of the ceiling. Another idea is to make several skylights in the roof, many of them will give much daylight.

A Couple Of Skylights
Even a couple of small highlights can bring much light inside, and sunlight will raise your mood while having a meal. If your kitchen and dining space are small and have no windows, skylights are your way to bring light in and refresh the spaces. Get inspired!
