Paper lanterns are very cheap in IKEA. Complemented with an electric cord from the same store and some wax paper any of these lanterns can become a very cute pendant lamp. Using shiny scotch tape you can easily cover the lantern with petals cut of wax paper in various lengths. As you can see on the picture the result is quite impressive for such cheap materials. The whole lamp will costs you less than $12.
