Salmon is a range of pale pinkish-orange to light pink colors, named after the color of salmon flesh. It represents the boundary in the spectrum of orange and red. Salmon color was popular in the late XIX century and in the 50-ies of XX century. Nowadays it’s much less popular yet there are really beautiful interiors where it’s used as the main color.
